The neighborhood is 2 miles from Interstate 485 at Exit 59 (Rea Rd) or Exit 61 (Johnston Rd); just minutes from Blakeney Office and shopping, Stonecrest Shopping with a grocery, Super Target store and numerous restaurants and services. Ballantyne, a regional shopping area in a walkable activity-centered master plan, is a superb office, restaurant and shopping location.

Hawk Haven is currently served by Hawk Ridge Elementary, Community House Middle School and Ardrey Kell High School. From the west side of Charlotte and Interstate 77 take Interstate 485 to Exit 61 (Johnston Rd) and head south. Turn left (east) on Ballantyne Commons Parkway, then right at the second traffic light onto N. Community House Rd. At the round-about you'll make a left turn onto Bryant Farms Rd. Hawk Haven will be on your left across from the entrance to Hawk Ridge Elementary.
